Culled from a 2014 live performance at Nightlight Bar & Club, this set evokes the build-up and afterglow of an epic party. The party itself is an empty center, a blackout, a sonic void in memory.

A four-on-the-floor pulse keeps things on a disco-friendly course as the tracks take extended detours through drone-zones and dub-space, visiting minor territories laid out by King Tubby & Augustus Pablo and later trod into obscurity by Basic Channel. Meanwhile, the mix also breathes in the atmospheres of ambient, but rhythmically propulsive, works like Can's "Future Days" and Manuel Gottsching's "E2-E4".
